We are opening a mid to senior-level position in our firm, where personal effort is valued more than experience.
We offer our expertise to help you gain skills in communication, social media management, brand communication, marketing, business administration, production, and project management.
The job is suitable for individuals with spark, enthusiasm, who are straight talkers and profoundly care about the world.
Daily agenda involves management of social media channels on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
Part of the job will also include daily communication with people - in the team, on the client side, and with external suppliers.
As a social media specialist, you will play an active role throughout the project cycle, including creating social media strategies and content plans, attending meetings, budgeting, researching, managing design and other creative work.
We are based in Bratislava. Hybrid work with regular home office is possible after the probation period. We typically offer 2 days of remote work per week.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in managing social networks, preparing long-term strategies, and tactical campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok.
Native proficiency in Facebook Business Suite and Facebook Ads Manager.
Experience with Zoomsphere or a similar service for managing, planning, and monitoring content.
Engaged in social, cultural, or even specific to niche topics.
You can write and design creative content, and also think strategically.
Close cooperation with graphic designers, photographers, and influencers is not a problem for you.
You enjoy reporting as an important part of your job.
You can name and define important KPIs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen, present, and speak clearly.
Attention to detail and the ability to check texts and designs for accuracy and consistency.
Reliability, responsibility, fast-paced and an adaptive mindset towards ever-changing projects and trends.
Any previous experience in people and/or project management is considered a great add-on, but it is not necessary to master the job.
The work requires communication in Slovak, but you should be no stranger to English.

How does your day look like?

Your day at work starts with a stand-up meeting at 9 AM, during which we review the daily agenda of copywriters and designers to evaluate if all tasks can be completed on time.
After sorting your agenda for the day, you begin working on your daily tasks, which include:
Ideating, writing, and curating content for the monthly content plan across various social media platforms, from TikTok to LinkedIn.
Overseeing content production, including video and photo production on a regular basis. Planning tasks and briefing designers, photographers and videographers on their work.
Scheduling and reviewing the content calendar for the month, ensuring all proposed posts align with the marketing strategies and client objectives. Make necessary adjustments based on current trends or events.
Responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions, while monitoring communication and consulting with clients to foster conversations and maintain a positive brand image.
Communicating with clients, providing updates on ongoing social media activities, coordinating and aligning strategies, and actively listening with empathy to understand their needs. Also, consult and coordinate with the team regarding client requests.
Preparing and presenting monthly reports on the performance of given social media brand channels, keeping an eye on set KPIs and standard metrics such as reach, engagement, and audience growth. Reports also include comparisons with competitors to benchmark against similar brands and your recommendations for what to do next.
Working individually and/or collaboratively with the team on new ideas, social media strategies, and campaigns.
Keeping an eye on social media and overall trends, as well as competitors, to ensure content remains relevant and up-to-date.
Organizing and actively participating in team meetings, meetings with clients, workshops, and brainstorming sessions.

Critical thinking, getting the context, and setting boundaries are also important parts of your daily routine. Our mind can be trained this way, and such skills can be achieved, so do not worry if this part of our process doesn't come naturally to you.
If it's every other Tuesday, we have lunch together as a team - offsite or in the office. (Peter occasionally cooks.)
We hold 1-on-1 meetings from time to time to discuss your progress, provide feedback, and set goals for your development. These meetings are a great opportunity for you to share your thoughts and ideas, ask questions, and receive guidance on how to improve your work.
